    Hi Paul, i am currently using Arcsaber 11 pro, the control aspect is all good, but there is a lack of repulsive power.... will it be a wise decision to switch to nanoflare 1000z.? considering the technical adjustments due to compact head, stiffer shaft, faster swing speed etc. Also, i don't want to loose a whole lot of control in my shots. Basically i want to know if i switched to nanoflare, would i be getting more than i would be loosing or not, thanks in advance. bye

    Hiya Paul! Great to see that you're still actively making videos. I remember moving to England 9 years ago as an international student from Canada and I asked on the Badminton Central forums where I could play. You kindly directed me to Andy in the Durham County and I because of that I truly enjoyed my time in England. I am no longer in England, but I fondly remember interacting with the folks in the Durham County and I attribute a lot of it to your kindness on the forums!

    How would you compare this one with Astrox100 zz 4u?

      That’s a good question. 11 has a different flex point, less head weight and is a little faster

    Can you suggest the best racket for an intermediate level player which has head heavy balance and medium flex shaft. Thanks

    Thank you coach Paul for the video. I am a big fan of your review work! I have a weird questions relating to 99 pro and I would appreciate if you can help me out. I am using the 99 pro for almost 1.5 years and generally I have no complaints about this wonderful racket. I bought it after I've practice badminton for about 3 years and at that time, I felt great: I did not feel the racket is too demanding (super head heavy, stiffness...) like people said, and thoroughly enjoyed as it gives me much more power and control. However recently, suddenly I felt sometimes it is too stiff and unresponsive, which is strange because I have been getting more serious about badminton: more intensive training, more tournament and consistency training. Overall, I should feel much stronger and more capable using the racket. My friends/partners in badminton pointed out that I used to have a larger swing, I used a bit more shoulder rotation to compensate my lack of forearm explosiveness. Now they say that my swing is more compact, I whip my forearm more so I naturally feel the racket becoming more stiff and head heavy. This begs the question: what should I do now? Should I revert to using larger swing/ more shoulder or should I keep focusing on perfecting the whippy techniques as it seems like everybody is going down that route. Recently I tried out a head balance racket and immediately my swing was so fast that I had to adjust my timing. The smash was more crispy and great angle. I still very much like the 99 pro and I am trying to convince myself it is all in my head, maybe I should just keep practicing and everything will be in the right place at some point in the future. I am all ears to your opinions/guidance on this. Thanks in advance.

      Next is medium flex, head heavy. It’s heavier than 77, different frame construction so not as sharp and bright a feel.

    Great review - I bought an Astrox Nextage as well but unfortunately did not like it at all. Felt super sluggish and head heavy. The VDM killed any feedback from the racket and felt like swinging a dead fish. Afterwards I tried the Arcsaber 7 Pro and man, the difference was day and night. I was in love at the first hit. Arcsaber 7 Pro is the best racket for me after playing with so many racket in decades. Finally found my match.

      Glad you found your perfect racket. You probably understand why I say you feel a racket in a unique way. I can describe how a racket feels and plays but it doesn’t mean it will suit you

    • @TheBadmintonCoach
      @TheBadmintonCoach 5 місяців тому

      Not necessarily. Higher tension shortens the durability as there is more pressure on the string from a mishit

      I haven’t tested the Tour version. I have seen it and it’s slightly different construction although specifications are the same.
